Our passion remain allign to the core of Jesus’ teachings around 3 key elements: Loving God, Loving People and Making Disciples. We continue to focus on Spiritual growth. In recent months, there has been calling to ensure as a church, we are consistent to the foundation of Christianity and are delivering fundamental ministries. In recent months, through trusted mentors, we have identified areas where leadership team growth and development are required. Church restructure and team assignment to the key ministry areas are completed. In coming period, we are excited to do more of what God entrust us as one body of Christ; for more souls to know & encounter Jesus personally. To date, we still embrace importance of connectedness and its correlation with growth. That is the reason why we strive toward getting as many people as possible connected, no matter what their age, interest, location, and life phase is. Apart from standard Sunday Service, we support connectedness and lifestyle of early churches through our program that is called Lifehouse. Lifehouse is Citygate’s cell group community in which genuine relationship is built. Lifehouse is not merely a program or part of the church Lifehuse is the church where lives are transformed, disciples are made, gifts are manifested, lost souls are won, grace is extended, and truth is lived. In addition, annually we hold a church camp normally allign with Easter week, worship nights, as well as intercessor prayer meetings. There are also specific workshop and gatherings arrange to meet specific ministry needs at Citygate to ensure our members are fully abled and to learn directly from experienced and trusted mentors. We hope Christ’s values can be embodied in wholesomeness and vividly through the lives of our members not just at church but in their every day lives. Other than supporting the local community in Sydney, where the church is based, Citygate Church has heart to support ministries in the homeland Indonesia where most of our church community members originate from. We are hoping further financial support can be extended to our charity partners who are needing much supports in the years ahead.
