St. Joseph’s Primary School Parents and Friends Association Annual Report As another year concludes, St. Joseph’s Primary School Parents and Friends Association (P&F) extends a heartfelt thank you to the entire school community for their unwavering support throughout this year. Throughout 2023, The Parents and Friends Association successfully conducted multiple fundraisers, including the Domino’s Dough Raiser, Easter Raffle, and the Annual Christmas Raffle and Christmas Carols, where we provided platters and hot dogs. Additionally, we collaborated to organise the carnival BBQs and catered for the highly successful Matilda performances. For the upcoming Christmas Carols event, we will be providing platters and hot dogs. The funds raised through these initiatives have been utilised to support various school needs. We obtained the new MultiLit eLibrary license, purchased new Chromebooks, supported Matilda the Musical, and contributed to a Cambodian orphanage visited by one of our St. Joseph’s families. Additionally, we provided the Year Six Graduation cake, lunch for World Teachers Day, and new equipment for the canteen. Community events hosted throughout the year included a Welcome Sausage Sizzle, which allowed us to meet new families and enjoy sports and lucky door prizes as well as support other school social events like Mother s and Father s Day. To show our appreciation for our dedicated teaching and support staff, we celebrated World Teachers Day by providing a catered lunch. The P&F also donated money for muchneeded band equipment and assisted with transport to various sporting events and the Da Vinci Decathlon. I would like to thank all committee members and volunteers for their dedication and time over the past year. A special thank you to our Parish Priest, Principal, Assistant Principals, and all the staff for their unwavering support. We are optimistic that 2024 will be a successful year for the P&F, where we can welcome families back to our meetings and host successful fundraisers.
