Hisstory Church Incorporated
HisStory Church is a member of the Crosslink Christian Network and we are based in Sydney, Australia. The church is currently located in the suburb of Granville with about 200 committed members and we are continuing to grow as a multicultural community even in the midst of the COVID pandemic. It was originally planted about 17 years ago, reaching mainly international students and working holiday visa holders from Korea. During that time the church was focused on sharing the gospel with the lost and we saw over a thousand people getting baptised in the first 3 years. We were originally a very transient ministry with many members being temporary visa holders, however the church’s demographic changed as many of these young adults began to settle down and start families. Now the church proudly has a children’s ministry of over 100 children under the age of 12 and a growing youth and young adult ministry. Now the congregation has become much more diverse being in a culturally rich area of western Sydney we have many second generation Australians, Turkish, Egyptian, Bangladeshi, Iraqi members in our congregation speaking 7 different languages. We believe that Australia has a unique and important role in building the global church and taking the gospel to the nations. It’s our desire to a revival in the next generation of Australia unto a global missions movement impacting not only Australia but the nations. Our church’s mission statement is to walk with God and do His will. Our vision is to train and equip the next generation army of God to finish the great commission and so our church is focused on training and equipping the next generation. Not only would we want to use the church building for our Sunday services, but we would see the church open daily, for midweek services, daily prayer meetings, Prayer room sessions, training schools for the next generation, discipleship and leadership training, mid week children’s gatherings, mother’s group prayer meetings and multiple services in different languages. We would maximise every space available. We would love to see the church used for local and global outreach. To reach and transform our local community and also the nations. We currently have 85 home grown missionaries that are active on the field currently all based in the Middle East and North Africa region with another 250 on standby in training. If we are successful in purchasing the property we would love to see it become a sending base for the next generation and continue to see the kingdom expand from there.
